Common Questions
What is glass-wool pre-insulated ducting?
A self-supporting air duct made from rigid glass-mineral-wool boards with factory-applied facings. The duct and its insulation are one component, so it installs in a single fix, weighs a fraction of insulated sheet metal and needs no external lagging.
Do you sell a particular pump brand?
No. We are a packager. Pumps, drives, control panels, manifolds and valves are selected from established manufacturers to meet the building's specification and supplied as one tested package.
What capacity range do your condensing units cover?
Air-cooled condensing units from 1 to 134 kW cooling in single- and two-stage configurations, and compressor racks from 20 to 700 kW. A selection follows from the design temperature, the ambient and the load.
Who makes the products you supply?
CLIMAVER ducting is made by KIMMCO-ISOVER under Saint-Gobain ISOVER licence. Refrigeration equipment comes from established manufacturers, selected for the duty. Pump skids are packaged from pumps, drives and panels by established manufacturers. Technics selects, supplies and supports all three from the UAE.
How do I request a quotation?
Drawings, schedules or a specification sent to info@technicsfzc.com or through the enquiry form are logged centrally and routed to the engineer responsible for that solution.
Can you send specification text for a tender?
Yes. A specification clause for pre-insulated ducting and enquiry checklists for pump skids and refrigeration are sent from our engineering office on request.
