  3. Packaged pump skids

Pump Skids Configured to Your Specification.

We are not a pump brand. We choose the pump, the drive and the panel that fit the duty and supply them as one package, with one point of responsibility.

Independent by Design.

A packaged skid puts pumps, drives, panel, headers and valves on one base, piped and wired. On site it needs two pipe connections and one power supply.

Because we do not make pumps, we are free to pick the right one. If the consultant has named a basis of design, we supply to it. If not, we propose one and show the data.

Every skid arrives with its test records, wiring diagrams and general-arrangement drawing.

Why Specify It

One package, one point of responsibility, one set of documents.

1

Point of responsibility

One supplier owns hydraulics, electrics, controls and the base. There is no gap between pump vendor, panel builder and installer.

Configured, not catalogued

Duty, standby arrangement, control philosophy and footprint are set from your schedule rather than a fixed model list.

Component choice

Pumps, VFDs and control components are selected from established manufacturers to suit the specification; brand is a decision, not a constraint.

100%

Tested before delivery

Hydrostatic test on the pipework and a functional run test of pumps and controls, recorded and issued with the unit.

2+1

Site connections

Two flanged pipe connections and one incoming supply. Positioning, levelling and connection are the only site tasks.

Documentation that travels

General arrangement, P&ID, wiring diagrams, test certificates and O&M manual issued with every skid.

Sized for the plant room

Compact headers, maintenance clearances and lifting points specified around the room you have, including split skids for restricted access.

Energy-aware control

VFD constant-pressure control, staged duty and sleep modes reduce running cost and pressure surges.

Standby and redundancy

Duty/standby and duty/assist/standby arrangements with automatic changeover for critical buildings.

Package Types

Three standard arrangements cover most buildings. Each one is sized for the job, not picked from a list.

Duplex packaged water transfer pump set

Water transfer sets

Ground-tank to roof-tank transfer, level-controlled, with dry-run protection.

Arrangement Simplex or duplex, automatic changeover
Pumps End-suction or vertical multistage
Control Float or level-transmitter, DOL or soft start
Typical use Villas, low- and mid-rise buildings
Three-pump pressure booster set with pressure vessel

Pressure booster sets

Constant-pressure supply to upper floors with variable-speed control and a pressure vessel.

Arrangement Duplex, triplex or quad
Pumps Vertical multistage
Control VFD constant pressure, cascade, sleep mode
Typical use Towers, hotels, hospitals, retail
Twin-pump sewage lift station and valve chamber

Sewage and sump lift stations

Duplex submersible pumps on guide rails with a float- or level-controlled panel.

Arrangement Duty/standby, alternating
Pumps Submersible sewage or drainage
Control Level control, high-level alarm, BMS output
Typical use Basements, villas, industrial sites
Pump control panel with drives and electrical components

What we integrate

Components selected to suit the duty and the specification.

Drives Variable-frequency drives, soft starters
Panels IEC 61439 panels, IP54 or better
Pipework Galvanised or stainless headers, isolation and non-return valves
Instruments Pressure transmitters, gauges, level sensors, flow switches

From Specification to Delivery

Four steps from specification to a skid on site.

  1. Select

Duty, head and control philosophy are taken from the schedule; pumps, drives and panel components are selected to suit.

    • Hydraulic selection
    • Panel schedule
    • General-arrangement drawing
  2. Configure

Base, headers, valves, instruments and the control panel are specified around the selected pumps and the space available.

    • Header and valve layout
    • Panel and VFD schedule
    • Lifting and access
  3. Package

The skid is assembled, piped and wired as one unit, with the hydrostatic and functional tests recorded.

    • Hydrostatic 1.5× working pressure
    • Run and control sequence test
    • Documentation pack
  4. Deliver and support

Delivered to site with drawings and documentation. We support the contractor's commissioning and start-up.

    • General arrangement and P&ID
    • Wiring diagrams
    • Start-up support

Performance Data

Typical envelope for building packages. Larger duties on request.

Parameter Value Basis
Flow range Up to 200 m³/h per package Typical building envelope
Head range Up to 160 m Typical building envelope
Pump count 1 to 4 per skid Configuration
Control VFD constant pressure, DOL, soft start Per specification
Panel standard IEC 61439, IP54 enclosure Standard
Hydrostatic test 1.5 × maximum working pressure Factory test
Header material Galvanised steel or stainless steel 304/316 Per specification
Base frame Welded structural steel, powder-coated Standard
BMS interface Volt-free contacts; Modbus or BACnet on request Option
Pumps, drives and control components are selected per project from established manufacturers. Their individual performance data is issued with the submittal; brand names are not shown on this site because the package, not the component, is what we supply.

Common Questions

Do you make your own pumps?
No. We package. Pumps, drives and control components are selected from established manufacturers to meet the duty and specification, then supplied as one wired and tested unit.
Can you supply to a consultant's named basis of design?
Yes. If the schedule names a pump or panel manufacturer we supply to it; if it does not, we propose an equivalent selection with the performance data for approval.
What do you need to quote?
Flow and head (or the pump schedule), the control philosophy, the available space and the incoming power supply. A plant-room drawing helps.
What is tested before delivery?
Pipework is hydrostatically tested at 1.5 times working pressure and the complete skid is run-tested with its controls. Records are issued with the unit.
Can the skid be split for access?
Yes. Where door or lift sizes are restricted the skid is supplied in sections that are reconnected on site.
Do you commission on site?
We support the contractor's commissioning and can attend site for start-up and witness testing.
